Building an prototype is an important step in the app development process, as it helps to identify and refine the key features and user experience of the app before investing in full-scale development. A prototype is essentially a rough draft or mock-up of the digital product, designed to give developers and stakeholders a sense of how the app will function and look. Its also used in user testing.

The first step in building an app prototype is to clearly define the goals and objectives of the app. This includes understanding the target audience, the app's intended purpose, and the key features and functionality that will be required.

Once the goals and objectives have been established, the next step is to create a wireframe or sketch of the app's user interface. This provides a visual representation of the app's layout and helps to identify any potential design or usability issues.

After the wireframe has been created, the next step is to create a clickable prototype, which allows users to interact with the app's interface and test out its functionality. This can be done using a variety of prototyping tools, we favour Figma and ProtoPie.

Once the prototype has been created, it's important to test it with real users and gather feedback on their experience. This feedback can then be used to make necessary improvements and refinements to the app's design and functionality..
